Pemberton House is part of Community Integrated Care, one of Britain’s biggest and most successful social care charities and has supported older people for over 3 decades. It is proud to deliver specialist residential and nursing care that supports people living with age-related needs and dementia to lead full and happy lives, through our EachStep Care model.

Pemberton Fold is a lovely, 60 bedded purpose built residential care home for older people and people living with dementia situated in a quiet residential area of Little Hulton, Salford.

Home Comforts

Pemberton Fold is a warm, welcoming and friendly home with some very special features. Our home has wonderful spaces to relax in and enjoy company, including homely lounges.  We have a large accessible garden, so our residents can enjoy relaxation and activity outdoors with relatives and friends. We hold a regular forum with residents, enabling them to voice their views on the day-to-day running of our home.

All our bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with en-suite facilities, we encourage residents to personalise their rooms to make them more homely.

An Active Life

We run an extensive activity programme and support people to enjoy days out in the community too. By getting to know our resident we are able to offer activities that meet their different passions and interests. Our residents enjoys fun one-to-one and group activities, such as arts and crafts, reminiscence sessions, quiz and games nights and sing-alongs. We also hold regular social events for residents, family and friends, including performances from local entertainers as well as welcoming local clergy, volunteers and schools regularly visit our home.

Food and Nutrition

Mealtimes are an important social event for our residents to look forward to everyday, and this begins with an appetising offering. We have a partnership with Apetito whose chefs and nutritionists have taken pride in catering for specific requirements and nutritional needs, without compromising on the delight of a delicious meal. Apetito Chefs regularly update menus to keep things fresh, while also ensuring they’re filled with home comforts such as traditional Sunday roasts and fish Friday. Apetito also provide an award-winning Texture Modified range in line with IDDSI standards, allowing people we support who may have difficulty swallowing to enjoy their meal and dine with dignity. They also provide meals to special dietary requirements without compromising on taste. Snacks and beverages are always available throughout the day and we even have snack stations located on each unit free of charge.

Person Centred Support

We are committed to providing personalised support that promotes people leading full, happy and independent lives. All our staff receive specialist training and mentoring. Our staff really get to know our residents. To achieve this, we spend time understanding their life story and the things that are important to them, so we focus on the things that really matter to them. All our residents have a named key worker who helps develop their own personalised care.
